The Charles Koch Foundation announced a new partnership with Work Shift, a leading independent media outlet focused on the intersection of education and work. The sponsorship will enable Work Shift to expand its coverage of employers that are building work cultures from the bottom-up by empowering workers and transforming their thinking about talent. Work Shift will maintain complete editorial control of the content and the stories it chooses to include in its coverage.
“Work Shift is a leading news outlet covering the future of work,” said CKF Executive Director Ryan Stowers. “We are thrilled to partner with Paul Fain and the Work Shift team to highlight how employers are thinking outside the box about their talent. Work Shift’s independent coverage will help identify and elevate businesses focusing on individual skills, strengths, and mindsets and how that leads to business success. I am excited to see what their team uncovers.”
“Employers will need to play a central role if we’re going to see real progress on economic mobility and the creation of on-ramps to opportunity for more Americans,” said Paul Fain of Work Shift. “We’re grateful for the support from the Charles Koch Foundation, which will help Work Shift to get the word out about what’s working — and what isn’t — with work-based learning and the upskilling of frontline workers. Please reach out if you have a story to share.”
Work Shift is an independent, nonpartisan news organization. They accept gifts, grants, and sponsorships from individuals, organizations, corporations, and foundations. Work Shift’s news judgments are made independently, and supporters have no control over editorial decisions.
