The Ohio State University Mortiz College of Law announced the establishment of the Drug Enforcement and Policy Center (DEPC), a project supported by the Charles Koch Foundation that will study the impacts of the “war on drugs” on society. Additionally, the DEPC will serve as an independent source for researchers, policymakers, and others interested in objective information about drug enforcement and reform.

“The Drug Enforcement and Policy Center will serve as an objective, reputable voice in the national conversation relating to drug laws and enforcement,” said Alan C. Michaels, Dean of the Moritz College of Law.
