The Charles Koch Foundation (CKF) has updated its giving standards. While the principles that guide the standards remain the same — our partners call the shots and provide the environment for open inquiry and new ideas that benefit society — the language within the standards has been revised to reflect the foundation’s growing partner network.
For most of its history, CKF focused primarily on supporting faculty and research at four-year colleges and universities. Today, CKF is excited to extend its support to include social entrepreneurs in the broader postsecondary education ecosystem who are breaking down the barriers that prevent people from reaching their potential.
Our giving standards, which permanently available here, now reflect the foundation’s expanded network of social entrepreneurs.
