Charles Koch Foundation Grant Helps Expand ASU’s Political History Program

Share

Arizona State University (ASU) launched its program in political history in 2013 and since then has given hundreds of students the opportunity to explore the complexities of democracy by studying civic communities from ancient city states to modern nations.

Today ASU announced that, with support from the Charles Koch Foundation, it will expand a certification program open to all majors that will give more students the chance to learn vital lessons about leadership through the study of classical philosophers and current issues in business and the humanities. Bolstered by an understanding of the complexities of real decision-making, this program prepares students from all disciplines for any career field.

In addition to offering a robust curriculum to all undergraduates, the Program in Political History and Leadership will continue to host events with nationally-known scholars and thinkers and provide opportunities for internships and scholarships.
