Trinity Students Take Part in Lecture on Intellectual Property

Trinity University’s “Professional Ethics Speakers Series” featured a discussion on intellectual property in spring 2013. Jan Narvesor, professor at the University of Waterloo (Ontario, Canada), introduced students to a range of philosophical ideas on property and encouraged them to consider the challenges when applying these ideas to modern debates. Steve Luper, chair of Trinity’s philosophy department, noted through the series, a number of issues “are brought to life by experts in ethics defending their views.”
