Edward Timmons Named Director of Center for the Study of Occupational Regulation
St. Francis University has appointed professor of economics Edward Timmons as director of the new Center for the Study of Occupational Regulation. Occupational licensing affects as many as one in four workers in the United States, and the center will study its influence on the economy and public safety. Timmons will also lead the development of a publicly available national database of occupational regulation, as well as other projects that will encourage student involvement.
